One, None and One Hundred Thousand

The repetition of the same photo - from when I was eight years old - represents that which has remained constant as time has flown. The ritual of having the same photograph taken every year, with the pose being dictated by the same photographer in the same studio; my childish gaze, filled with an inner happiness looking toward the unknown future, remained fixed. TheĀ  happiness which once was exhilarating takes me back upon the black and white film of childhood. That's the photo of mine, of thousands of us, and none of us anymore.
