Curatorial concept: the Word as a means for building a dialogue.
My father used to remake the covers of the books fashioned in a schematic and communist propaganda style. It was a visual reinterpretation of the word in his idiosyncratic way as they remained isolated up to now that are firstly displayed apart of home’s bookshelf. The installation attempts to build the missed dialogue of the old text and context and, as well, of the old text and the new context. It is confrontation of the individual expression and ideological generalization of the past and the marketing of the present.
